Join the New Mexico State University Equestrian Camp and take the next step toward collegiate riding success. Designed for future equestrian team members, this camp gives riders the opportunity to experience the collegiate riding environment while preparing for future Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association team tryouts. Riders may also have the opportunity to complete an early evaluation for the NMSU IHSA team.

Camp sessions will focus on developing strong horsemanship and equitation skills while introducing students to the collegiate riding format used in IHSA competition. Participants will gain experience with riding unfamiliar horses, refining position and communication, and learning the expectations of collegiate riders both in and out of the arena. In addition to mounted instruction, campers will participate in team-building activities that promote confidence, leadership, sportsmanship, and a supportive team culture.
